ASSOCIATION OF VIRTUOUS MUNICIPALITIES
Cantiano is made of unspoiled nature, the Catria mountain, and the “Bosco di Tecchie” natural reserve as well as an evocative medieval historical center and archaeological findings. Cantiano is not only the Town of Bread, Black Cherry, and Catria Horses, it also stages one of the most important folkloristic theatre events in Italy that takes place on Good Friday and is called “La Turba”.

Cantiano is characterized by a unique atmosphere that stems from the authenticity, warmth, and sincerity of the relationships between its people, and a lifestyle that is free from stress and based on care, cheerfulness, and good food.
